Vacant and Abandoned Property Registration

Within ninety (90) days of a building becoming vacant, abandoned, foreclosing and foreclosed, the property owner of such vacant or abandoned building shall register said building with the Building Department by completing and submitting a registration form as well as paying the fee of $100.00.

The goal of a vacant property registry is to protect the public health and safety, promote general welfare of the city and its residents and encourage restoration of vacant and abandoned properties.
