Sign-up Begins Soon for Library Summer Reading in Adams

Part of “Find Your Voice!” Reading Challenge June 20 to Aug. 11.

Adams MA – Adams Free Library launches Find Your Voice! summer reading program on June 20. During the next two months the library will host a range of free activities for children, teens, and adults to encourage and support a love of reading.  Participants can win prizes for reaching their goals and are encouraged to log reading online via Beanstack and will earn raffle tickets at certain reading milestones for a prize.

Raffle prizes are provided by the Friends of the Adams Free Library. The deadline for logging books is Friday, August 11. Winning tickets will be drawn after the end of the program and announced on August 17. Patrons are to log only the books they start and complete between June 20 and Aug. 11.

Signing up using Beanstack software or app is easy. Beginning June 20, readers may visit www.adamslibraryma.beanstack.org to create an account or use an existing one, sign-up for the reading challenge of their choice, and begin logging. Although “Find Your Voice!” is an overall theme for the program, children may read whatever they choose and sign up any time.

Find Your Voice! is sponsored by the Adams Free Library, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. Additional funding provided by the Friends of the Adams Free Library.

Library events are free and open to the public. An adult must accompany children under 8 years of age. Attendance at library programs constitutes consent to be photographed; photos may be used in print or electronic publicity for the Adams Free Library. Questions?
