Bowey the Clown is an award-winning family entertainer, delighting kids of all ages with his comical blend of magic, ventriloquism, and awesome balloon art. Bowey started performing at the age of nine years old. BTC Family Entertainment was founded by owner Bruce Bowey in 2006. Bruce has been entertaining for over 40 years. He is a professionally trained actor, and a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Bowey entertains throughout Berkshire County and surrounding states. He has performed with Rafi and Pete Seeger and at thousands of birthday parties. Bowey is the clown the kids always want to see again.

This year, instead of face painting, there will be temporary glitter tattoos by Magic Brushes.  Care and patience is provided for each child for one-of-a-kind work of art. Magic Brushes uses only FDS compliant, professional cosmetic-grade face paints and safe glitters.

“Tails and Tales” is sponsored by the Adams Free Library, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. Additional funding provided by the Friends of the Adams Free Library.
