Public Records Access Guidelines
General information about the public records law and public records requests can be found online at the Secretary of the Commonwealth's website "A Guide to the Massachusetts Public Records Law".
The Town of Adams maintains its searchable website (www.town.adams.ma.us) where certain public records are available for inspection, downloading or printing. If a requestor seeks documents publicly available on the Town of Adams website, the requestor will be directed to the website in satisfaction of the request, unless the requestor does not have the ability to receive or access the records in a usable electronic form.
