Adams MA – Families and children aged seven and up are invited to register for this event with Ed the Wizard, hosted by the Adams Free Library. Join us for “Impromptu Magic for Camping” by Ed the Wizard at the library, sure to be mystical, magical mayhem for all.

Learn how to perform easy magic using items that you would take on a camping or hiking trip such as: “Fly Away Birdie,” “Ghost Hankie,” “Do as I Do,” and of course “How to Cut Your Friend in Half!” Ed shows you supplies and materials required to practice and learn the effects.  Registration is required because space is limited (413)743-8345.

Ed the Wizard taught himself to perform magic tricks to become Ed the Wizard full time.  He brings programs to schools and libraries, (since 2001.) Ed is an award-winning performer and is a member of the Society of American Magicians. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

“Read Beyond the Beaten Path” is sponsored by the Adams Free Library, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. Additional funding provided by the Friends of the Adams Free Library.
